Call2Recycle is rolling out a new program to enable responsible recycling of large batteries for equipment like lawnmowers, snow blowers and power tools.  CSI EPC, the Canadian arm of U.S.-based ITAD firm EPC Global Solutions, named Mike Kubala as company president. Kubala previously served as vice president of operations. The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy awarded $5.6 million to 30 projects to advance the state's reuse, repair and recovery of materials and grow markets for recycled materials. New Zealand-headquartered Mint Innovation is partnering with RL Equity to acquire a business in the U.S. SK Tes's parent company is selling off other assets but retaining SK Tes, suggesting it will increase focus in the ITAD sector.
